Basic Fulltext Document Search Module

All versions of FormKiQ include the option for basic fulltext search capabilities using Typesense.

If fulltext search is a required component for your document management functionality, you can enable Typesense to create and store an index with document content and filenames. As this requires OCR in the case of PDF files and images, all versions of FormKiQ also enable OCR using Tesseract, with Amazon Textract available for FormKiQ Pro and Enterprise.

As Typesense runs in an AWS Fargate container, FormKiQ provides the option to customize the number of characters of content stored, along with whether or not to include a document's content in the fulltext index at all, in cases where having the filename searchable meets the need of the application.

Enhanced Fulltext Document Search Module

Using Amazon S3, Amazon OpenSearch, and Amazon DynamoDB, FormKiQ provides fulltext search capabilities for document retrieval, including enhanced querying and aggregation.
