Blockchain and Decentralized Storage

Leverage web3 technologies including proof of work and distributed systems for document control and data privacy

This version is built using FormKiQ Enterprise, including modules for blockchain management and distributed object storage.

FormKiQ Use Case: Blockchain and Decentralized Storage

Workflow Steps:

  1. Internal and external users add or update documents using FormKiQ's API, web console, CLI, or client SDK.
  2. Document metadata is updated in the FormKiQ Document Registry, which combines data storage with blockchain management, through Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Managed Blockchain or through options such as the upcoming SagaOS and SagaChain. The document itself is not stored in the registry; the registry provides the location and provenance of the document.
  3. The document itself is added to a decentralized object storage solution, such as Sia.
  4. Authorized internal and external users are able to retrieve documents and metadata securely through the FormKiQ API, web console, and client SDK.
